On Monday afternoon, July 11th, 2005, Nick and Karl Sterling ended their EXCITING journey - a 14 day bicycle ride from Syracuse, New York to Dallas, Texas! The ride was approximately 1,700 miles and the mission: to raise $25,000 for the Central New York Children's Miracle Network - Supporting the Syracuse Children's Hospital as well as other Children's Miracle Network Affiliates and Children's Hospitals along our trip!

Welcome to Bicycling for Life!

Hello and thanks for visiting!

Unfortuneately, we have had to cancel our bicycle ride from New York to Florida this summer. We have encountered a couple of obstacles that will prevent us from making the trip.

Originally, we had planned on leaving Syracuse, NY on Monday, July 2, 2007, for a 16 day journey on our bicycles, riding to Titusville, Florida (Kennedy Space Center) in an effort to raise money and awareness for the The Syracuse RESCUE MISSION.

The Rescue Mission is a fantastic and wonderful organization that does an immeasureable amount of good and positive for the community. We are honored to have their support for our fund-raising mission, and plan on making the same trip next summer!

In the meantime, Nick and I plan to keep doing plenty of bicycle riding, running, working out at the gym, and playing tennis to maintain our health and work towards training for a ride to Florida next summer!
